Boring You with My Drawings

I'm having such a good time looking through my old drawings and artwork. Please forgive me for boring you with more pictures of my attempts, but I enjoy sharing them so, and they are stirring up my interests again.

Do you recognize this little fellow? I tried to make him look like the lovable little character from the children's book, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie.

Well, I've got to get out to the garden before the temps soar here today. Those juicy, red, ripe tomatoes are hanging in bunches there just waiting to be brought into my kitchen and put into jars. I sure miss my canning partner. My sweet little Heather girl stood by my side for many summers patiently peeling tomato after tomato for me to can. Now she's moved waaaaay up north to Indiana and we don't get to share our special mother-daughter canning time together this year. But I'll put up some extra jars of tomatoes for ya'll Heather!

  2. You are absolutely not boring me with your drawings. I think you do an amazing job!! Really, I think there's a reason you are doing this...maybe to get the fire back and to begin pursuing that talent again.

You know how Beverly encourages us to seek out a new blog each pink Saturday and to post about that blog the following week. Well, your blog is the one I am highlighting tomorrow, since my first visit was last Saturday. I've enjoyed being back several times since then.

Anyhow, I am extremely close to my daughter too. (Age 20). She still lives in my home, though, so I still have the ability to do many things with her...however, we DON'T can.

    Have a lovely day,
Patti (Fill My Cup with Beauty)

  5. Sherry,

We seem to all have that "hidden" side when it comes to our art..for one reason or another.

I'm so delighted that you've shared your sweet artwork..it is fabulous and you need to work your way back to it.

I'm finally getting settled enough to finish some designs I started working on 4+ years ago...no one has ever seen them.

    You've inspired me. ♥

We have stayed so busy completing projects in the house that I've missed visiting so many of my blogger friends. I'm working my way back..LOL

    Have a wonderful day,
    Stephanie ♥
