THE UNVEILING!!!

I finished it!!! TA DA!!!

My paint-by-number project has given me M-A-N-Y hours of pleasure, but I must say that I am glad to be finished with it and am ready to move on to the next project...which should be finishing up my crocheted afghan. It's so hard for this slightly ADD girl to stay focused on one time-intensive project long enough to finish before moving on to another. I have so many new ideas running through my head for the next project...and the next...and the next...

Note: For those that wanted info about where to purchase your own paint-by-number kit like mine. I bought it at Hobby Lobby. It is a 20" x 16" print called "Japanese Garden." The kit includes everything you need to finish the project and sells for $14.99. Hobby Lobby normally has a 40% off online coupon making the set less than $10!

I have been asked to join a fun party next month. It's a canning party! If you are canning your garden produce this year, or making jelly, or apple butter, etc. you might want to check out this canning party. It sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun!

  1. Good Morning Sherry Sweetie...
Oh my goodness gracious. Your painting is just BEAUTIFUL. I love the pink trees and the little bridge. Even the pagoda and the water lillies are exquisite. It has such a peace about it. I can't wait to see where it's first home will be. It could go into just about any room in a house. I love it.

I am clapping for you sweetie. A job well done.

Hope you have a beautiful day sweet friend.

    Country hugs, Sherry

  7. I am loving the pink trees. My grandpa used to paint those huge paint by numbers all the time. My grandma gave me the one he was working on when he died, so I could finish it. I worked on it a lot, but it's still not finished. Good job!
