My New Kitchen Sink Light

I wanted a simple pendant light to replace the 25 year old fluorescent light above my sink. I found one on the Anthropologie website, but $48 for a simple little light on a wire?

On to Plan B:

Buy a Mini Pendant Light Kit from Home Depot ~ $15

use a light globe I already have

Total cost of new pendant light:  $15

Much better, don't you think?

  8. It is crazy how much they want for lights. I was looking for a floor lamp but I will not pay what they are asking. I'm looking for one to rewire from the thrift store instead. Much cheaper and a piece of history...

  13. I've been searching in google for some new ideas and occasionally found this ahappyvalentine.blogspot.com site. What a wondrous blog! I admire how appointed each of the entries are. They are well balanced - amusing and informational - and the pictures are great too.
