Home Chores

I enjoy Mondays.
Really, I do.
I get to start the new week with my list of homey chores on the fridge.
They are just waiting to be completed and checked off.

Monday's chores:
  • laundry
  • vacuum
  • make menu
This week I'm also joining in with Flylady and detail cleaning my kitchen.

To round out this stay-at-home-and-work-day, I've planned one of my favorite meals for supper:

Meatloaf
Mashed potatoes
Collard greens
Cornbread

I love cooking up a warm, tummy satisfying meal on a cool, drizzly day like today.
It warms the soul (and the kitchen).

What are you up to today?
I'd love to hear from you!

P.S.  You can find the recipe for my Meatloaf in this post:  Cheering Up the Cold Winter Days

  3. Today was laundry day for me too. I do laundry for the three of us, plus laundry for my mom and brother next door. I have at least two, usually three, laundry days per week. I don't mind that job though, when I think of the process my great grandmother had to endure. I feel blessed!

We had a homemade fajita dinner with sugar-free banana pudding for dessert. We've two diabetics in the family. And it's still hot here. Enjoy your real autumn weather!
