When Life Hands You Lemons

A friend gave me a HUGE bag of lemons the other day.  I love lemon in my water so I pulled out my old-fashioned juicer and started washing, slicing, and squeezing lemons.  It took quite a while!

I strained the juice, put it in ice trays and popped them into the freezer.  Later, the frozen cubes were transferred to a large zip top freezer bag and now every night I have a refreshing glass of ice water with fresh frozen lemon juice.  It's quite a treat!

  3. Great idea. I must remember that for next Summer. These days a hot drink seems to suit me more.

  6. I love lemon in my water too, but rarely think to buy lemons.

I am visiting via Ricki's Happy List party and I just love your profile statement. I have to stop and remind myself I am a senior citizen and should act more grown up.

  7. I love the old fashioned juicer on the quilted tablecloth! SO HAPPY to hear from you! We've put Shelley in a private school and it's turned our world upside down (for the better).

Thanks for linking-up, my dear! You've made my day!!!
