I'm sorry I've been away from the computer for a few weeks. I've still been thinking about you though:) Have a nice week! I've heard it's far gentler on clothes, etc. Thistle Cove Farmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15722295191884810953noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8067345738741699448.post-52365622516464041712013-11-18T14:55:55.738-06:002013-11-18T14:55:55.738-06:00I think you'll be happy with your top-loading ...I think you'll be happy with your top-loading washer with the agitator. Two years ago our washer quit while we were on holidays. ( I think I've mentioned that we share a house with one of our sons and his young family) and my DIL chose an agitator-less top loader which has been such a disappointment. It does not get clothes clean partly I think because this new HE laundry soap that the manufacturer insists we use, has no cleaning power. And also the washer sets the water level and it hardly covers the clothes. So, all in all, my whites are dingy. I tried using the homemade laundry detergent but the washer leaves white streaks that are quite obvious. Sorry this comment has turned out to be so long .
