New Project Ahead!
For the past several months I've been staying away from yard sales and thrift stores. Yes, I've had withdrawals. But now my dear friend, Kathy, has introduced me to refashioning.
Thank you, Kathy!
So, I went to a couple of yard sales early last Saturday morning. I hit the jackpot at a church sale and came home with a bag full of projects for only $5.00! A few of them are lined up waiting on me.
I now have enough projects to keep me happily occupied for weeks, and all for the amazing price of 19 cents per garment!
Stay tuned and I'll keep you updated as I begin my new hobby of refashioning.
Note: Are you interested in refashioning? Just Google it and you'll find tons of inspiration!
LOL I've created a monster! Just kidding, of course. That sale was a great rummage sale. I managed to get things for myself and for a neighbor stuffed into that $5 bag.
ReplyDeleteHave fun refashioning! See ya Sunday.
Kathy
Sherry, don't you hate having withdrawals?
ReplyDeleteSo glad your breathing properly again, lol.

Can't wait to see what you do with your treasures! You ate definitely thinking outside the box. I know whatever you do with your refashioning will inspire me. :)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. There's a whole world out there that I didn't know about! I always have a hard time finding clothes that I like, and often feel like I should just make my own. This is so much cheaper! And it's not just for clothes. Crafts too! I can't wait to see what you're going to do, and thanks for introducing me to this whole idea!
ReplyDeleteOooh.. I haven't tried my hand at it yet, but I can't wait to see what you come up with here!!.. It's a wet and very rainy weekend here, but whatever you're doing today, I hope you're having a great weekend! ~tina
