Your apple butter recipe sounds wonderful, but I have a question about your composter. It looks like our Compost-Twin that we have had for a number of years but we can't seem to get the ratio of brown-to-green matter correct. Do you have any advice? Thanks!
I just found your blog through My Romantic Home and just had to leave a comment. I used to live in Alabama Northeastern part. Love to connect with people from that part of the country, so I am now 'following' you.
Everything tastes better with apple butter on it! Every time we go to Cracker Barrel I get it instead of jelly, but now I can make my own. Thanks so much for sharing your recipe!
Hi Sherry! You'll be a GREAT substitute teacher and fourth graders are precious! That was my favorite grade when I was a school kid! I'm sure they will LOVE you to bits!
How fun, I know the house smells great! I've made pear butter in the CP before, my apple tree never really produced-enjoy:@)
ReplyDeleteOh, I do love some apple butter! I made a crock-pot version last year that was delish!
ReplyDeleteSo tickled to have found your sweet blog today! ♥
