Well, no pictures for my blog today. Blogger is being very contrary and refuses to let me upload any but I'm posting anyway, so "Hah, Blogger!"
While the washer and dryer were catching up with my laundry chores for me, I took a walk out in the "brisk" winter air. It's 21 degrees with a wind chill factor of 7 degrees, but the sun is shining and I bundled up. Now I'm back home in front of the fire and plan to take a little break after putting in my next load of laundry.
I have some wonderful reading and dreaming material waiting for me. I wish I could show you the picture but I'll just describe it. There's sunlight streaming through the living room window and falling on my comfy chair that's holding a soft blanket, the book I'm currently reading ( Grace by Richard Paul Evans), and a brand new seed catalog that the mail carrier brought me today. Such dream material, I can just picture my summer vegetable garden! Now I'm going to make a cup of hot lemon tea and enjoy my reading time before the dryer rudely buzzes out my name.

Hi Sherry! I'm curious as to why blogger is so temperamental these days. It sounds like you had a lovely day!
ReplyDeleteEven without pictures I can see the room and taste your Lemon Tea ~ such bliss on a cold cold day
ReplyDeleteSeed catalogs. Aren't they wonderful with all their promises of gorgeous flowers and vegetables that may or may not look that way in one's own garden? Can you tell I'm a frustrated gardener, at least with vegetables? We have poor, sandy soil and too much shade to grow a proper veg. garden. But oh, I'm looking forward to Spring anyway. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI would love to read that book....I like the author! I've sure enjoyed my tea while I was sick but I'm feeling fine now. Thanks for visiting and your sweet words! Enjoy your day! Stay warm!
